Sauna Terms of Use
1. Booking & Cancellation Policy
General Bookings: Customers may cancel or amend their bookings up to 48 hours before the scheduled session and will automatically receive a full refund to their original payment method. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are non-refundable.
Pack & Membership Holders: To receive their session credit back on their account, Pack & Membership Holders must cancel at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session will result in the session being deducted from their package or membership.
2. Responsibility for Group Bookings
2.1 If booking on behalf of a group, you are responsible for ensuring all participants are aware of and adhere to these terms and conditions.
3. Health & Safety
3.1 All persons use the sauna at their own risk.
3.2 If you have any medical conditions, underlying health issues, are pregnant, or take prescription medication, you must consult your GP before booking.
3.3 Alcohol, nudity, and smoking are strictly prohibited.
3.4 Jewellery must be removed before entering to prevent burns.
4. Age Restrictions
4.1 Children aged 13 to 16 may use the sauna during private sessions only (full sauna must be booked), with a responsible adult present at all times.
4.2 Children under 13 are not permitted to use the sauna.
5. Sauna Use & Etiquette
5.1 Users must adhere to the following etiquette:
-Sessions should be limited to 15 minutes, with a maximum of 20 minutes.
-Only the provided ‘sauna water’ may be poured on hot rocks, following operator instructions.
-Enter and exit the sauna safely and ensure access points remain clear.
-Remove shoes before entering and ensure feet are clean.
-Avoid touching the stove.
-Sit on a towel while using the sauna.
-Maintain respectful behaviour towards other users.
-Rinse before entering any cold plunge baths if provided.
6. Cold Plunge & Ice Bath Use
6.1 Users of the ice bath, plunge pool, or river do so at their own risk.
6.2 It is your responsibility to ensure you are a competent swimmer and capable of handling cold exposure and sea currents.
6.3 No one under the age of 16 is permitted to use the ice bath, plunge pool, or cold showers.
7. Personal Belongings
7.1 All belongings are left at the user’s own risk.
8. Right to Refuse Entry
8.1 The Lions' Den operators reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone deemed intoxicated or posing a health and safety risk.
8.2 Refunds will not be issued to anyone refused entry for these reasons.

1. Introduction
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of The Lions Den Norwich Ltd ("we", "us", "our") services, website, and any purchases made. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Memberships
2.1 Membership purchases are non-refundable.
2.2 If you wish to cancel your membership, you must provide at least four (4) weeks’ notice by emailing us at roar@thelionsdennorwich.com.
3. Liability
3.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.
3.2 We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our services.
3.3 We hold appropriate insurance to cover liability in accordance with UK regulations.
4. Data Protection & Privacy
4.1 We comply with UK GDPR and protect your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4.2 By using our services, you agree to our collection, processing, and storage of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
5. Amendments to Terms
5.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website.
5.2 Continued use of our services after any amendments constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
6. Governing Law
6.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
