TREATMENTS

BOOK A TREATMENT AT THE LIONS' DEN
rest, reset and recharge

At The Lions’ Den City, our treatment rooms have been designed as quiet little retreats in the heart of the city. Soft light, warm touches and a calm atmosphere create a space where you can switch off, let go and enjoy a moment that is just for you.

We offer massage and sports massage, holistic therapies, reflexology and reiki, delivered by a small team of experienced external practitioners who bring care and presence to every session.

Whether you are in need of rest, recovery or a deeper sense of ease, you will be welcomed exactly as you are.

OUR PRACTITIONERS

Sam

Hi, I’m Sam! I’m a sports massage therapist and run Unity Sports Therapies. Before retraining, I was a primary school teacher for 10 years and my passion for helping others continues in my work today.

I love CrossFit, running, Hyrox, hiking, baking cookies, reading thrillers and of course, hunting down the perfect almond croissant!

I take a holistic, personalised approach to every treatment, using techniques like myofascial cupping and dry needling to help people move, feel and recover better. I’m also preparing to study Level 3 Personal Training and Level 4 Nutrition to support clients even more.

Sarah

Since 2009, I have been supporting clients through a variety of health challenges, bringing a gentle, compassionate approach to every session.

You don’t need to be unwell or have a specific “health issue” to benefit from my treatments. My work is holistic, addressing the body, mind and emotions as a whole. Even the relaxation alone can have a profound impact - helping you feel restored, balanced and nourished.

“The body is like a piano, and happiness is like music. It is needful to have the instrument in good order.” – Henry Ward Beecher

I believe the best approach to health is preventative: doing the things that make us feel good regularly. When we care for ourselves consistently, we stay in tune - physically, mentally, and emotionally - then we can show up as the best version of ourselves.

Lucy

I’ve been a massage therapist since 2018, with experience working with a luxury 5* Spa, ethical brands/cosmetics and other fun jobs such as once managing a surf camp in Australia and being a photographer in Bali for the same surf company. I’ve been a solo practitioner for 3 years and knowledge building is important to me, ensuring I’m always delivering the best I can do.

My massage style is deep tissue with particular attention to calming the nervous system, so even though we’re moving your tired muscles, we’re also allowing space to get that deep state of rest – where the real healing happens! This intuitive and immersive style is suitable and adaptable for everyone, at any sate you find yourself in right now – a moment of true repose and healing will always add to your life.

Mel

I am a holistic therapist with a genuine passion for supporting wellbeing through natural, nurturing therapies. I offer a range of treatments including reflexology across various areas of the body, Indian Head Massage, Reiki, and Ear Candling, each designed to promote balance and relaxation. My approach focuses on helping you sink into a deep state of rest, allowing your nervous system to shift from fight, flight, or freeze into a space of recovery and repair. I use natural products in my treatments and, as a Weleda Advocate (Advisor), can also support you in choosing products suited to your individual needs. I will soon be expanding my offerings to include Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping, continuing to support you in a gentle and holistic way.

Aron

Hey, I'm Aron! I'm a northerner in Norfolk who loves to travel and have adventures. Whether thats backpacking through Asia, or hiking in new locations with my pup Arlii.

After spending 15 years in the corporate world, I made the decision to retrain in all things wellness in order to help people where they need it most. I do this through 1-2-1 treatments as well as retreats, both across Norfolk and in Europe. I'm a qualified practitioner as well as a teacher of wellness. I offer treatments such as Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Indian Head, Thai Foot, Lymphatic Drainage, Reiki, Sound Healing and more. I also teach many of these mediums locally in Norfolk for a multi-award winning wellness school.

I like to meet people where they need it most, fancy a chat about the new marvel movie - I'm in. Want to zone out in your treatment and have silence - equally in. I'm professional with a friendly approach - look forward to meeting you!

Paul

I’m Paul, a mind–body coach in Norwich, helping people reduce overwhelm, reconnect with themselves and build sustainable well being through breath-work, mindfulness, and practical coaching tools. My approach is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and creating safe, purposeful spaces.

Outside work, I love cooking, exploring good food and outdoor adventures such as hiking, cycling, chasing sun or snow! Balanced with quiet, restorative downtime. My philosophy is simple: live with balance and help others do the same.

Harriet

"I’m a physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience across elite sport, NHS, and private practice settings. Whether you’re dealing with an injury, pain, or simply want to move better, my aim is to understand the cause of your symptoms and create a treatment plan tailored to your lifestyle. I use a combination of hands-on treatment and exercise-based rehabilitation to support your recovery and get you back to doing what you love.

Outside of the clinic, I love being outdoors - you’ll usually find me cycling or running on the trails. I also race my bike internationally, combining this with my love of travel and experiencing different cultures. I’m always keen to chat about trips, practise my (beginner) Spanish, or hear any travel recommendations you have!"

Favourite Drink- Coffee of any form!
