FIRST STUDIO VISIT?
Visiting the studio for the first time? You will find everything you need to know about what to bring, what to expect and how to get the most out of your time in the studio on this page.

The Lions' Den studio is open, friendly and welcoming. Some classes are designed to help you work hard, others to help you slow down.
We believe movement should feel supportive, listening to your body is always the best place to start.
WHAT TO BRING
Comfortable clothing you can move in
Water bottle
A small sweat towel if you like
Your own mat if you prefer, though we provide mats and props
A jumper and socks if you are coming to a meditation or slow yoga class
Anything you need for after class
MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR STUDIO VISIT
Arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. Give yourself time to settle in without rushing. Your Den Host will welcome you and point you in the right direction..
Use the equipment provided. Mats, blocks, and other props are ready for you. Or bring your own if you prefer.
Let your instructor know about any injuries or limitations. This helps us guide you safely and offer alternatives.
Be considerate of others. Keep conversations low before class starts and be mindful of phones and noise in the studio.
Listen to your body. Move at your own pace, take rest when you need it and choose options that feel right for you.
Settle in and enjoy the session. However you like to move, our classes are here to support you and help you feel your best in a welcoming space.
End mindfully. Take a moment to enjoy the post-class endorphin high before heading off if you can.
Make the most of your visit. Our café is open for hot drinks, delicious food and has lots of alcohol-free options if you want to stay a little longer and enjoy The Lions' Den City.
